A typical week at Sunnymead kids. Subject to change, weather and transport.

The activities are planned in accordance with the Early Years Foundation stage and where possible I try to link in with the preschool and the Primary school. We are flexible so should a new activity or interest be requested we can easily adapt to accomodate.

My setting is very much run through choice of the children. No child will be made to do something they do not want to. They all have free choice to participate and their views are fully respected. We try as much as possible to compliment and work with the other settings the children attend. 

Children have a suggestion board where they can request things they want at Sunnymeadkids. Their views are always listened to and acted upon as part of our activities where possible. They are free to choose their own toys which are accessible to all ages and abilities. Arts and crafts are accessible to the children at all times. Outside space is accessible to all children and will always be under supervision.
