We welcome parents to stay as long as they feel is necessary in order to settle their child in. We aim to support the parent and child through all transitional periods.

• It is important that the children & parents feel comfortable and happy with their surroundings.
• In order to achieve this, I welcome parents to bring their children at prearranged times and stay until we all feel comfortable. 
• Normally half of the prearranged time, eg, a full time child will do a half day. 
• We will normally visit a toddler group that the child is familiar with
  
• During this time the normal full fee will apply, this is because I am unable to give that space to another child.
  
• The aim is to settle the child as soon as possible and to assure that everyone feels comfortable.
  
• I try to encourage the parents to settle the child as soon as possible in to a routine but recognise that everyone has individual needs and will be flexible and supportive. 
• I also like to visit the child at home, if agreed. This enables the child to be familiar with me in the comfort if their own home and allows me to see the child in their surroundings.
